Sam’s Tours welcomes dive veteran Marc Bauman on board
New Sales & Marketing Director to build on customer service excellence and shark conservation

Koror/Munich, January 23, 2010 – Sam’s Tours the premier PADI Five Star National Geographic Dive Center in Palau, Micronesia, welcomes Marc Bauman on board to head its global sales and marketing activities.

Bringing Marc Bauman on board adds another high-caliber dive industry professional to Sam’s Tours already highly decorated staff. The PADI and SSI instructor with well over 6,000 logged dives previously worked as CEO and General Manager of one of the largest and oldest dive companies, Bahamas based UNEXSO. Equally important is Bauman’s expertise and dedication to shark conservation. Sam’s Tours, who is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has an unwavering commitment to conservation, and has a long history of fighting for the protection of the sharks of Palau.

The 37-year old puts the short term focus on carrying forward the “Reflection of Excellence” mission that has made Sam’s Tours Palau’s premier dive base. Looking more long term, Bauman aims to further develop the customer service and value Sam’s Tours offers its guests.
