Sam’s Tours Special Diving Event: Shark Shootout in Palau
Koror/Munich, January 19, 2008
Diving in Palau/Micronesia is spectacular all year round. But in February divers may experience an outstanding happening under water – the mating of sharks. While these ‘big animals’ can be watched practically on any dive all year round, in February, shark activity takes on a whole new level of intensity. Not only underwater photographers get their money worth of excitement, also snorkelers can easily witness this natural spectacle.
Palau dive base Sam’s Tours has therefore scheduled an additional event. From February 1 to 29, visitors are invited to join the Shark Shootout. There’ll be prizes every week for the best ‘shark shots’. The images will be posted on Sam’s Tours website. A Grand Prize for the best overall ‘shark shot’ will include a full week of diving for two with Sam’s Tours for the Shark Shootout in 2009.
